According to a claim in the Turkish media, Nottingham Forest and Watford are still interested in signing Galatasaray forward Mbaye Diagne when the summer transfer window opens.

The Club Brugge loanee has been linked with a move to England in recent weeks following reports Gala will look to offload him ahead of next season.

Fotomac today report Nottingham Forest and Watford remain in the hunt for the Senegal international, and that there’s a strong possibility he will be playing in England during the next campaign.

In recent weeks Forest and the Hornets have been linked with the player, along with Leeds United.

Diagne was loaned to Brugge last summer following the arrival of Radamel Falcao at the start of the season, but he’s been frozen out since November by the Belgian side.

He’s now expected to return to his parent club, but Galatasaray are looking to sell him for €5m.

Diagne is contracted to the Super Lig side until June 2022.
