Sergio Reguilón has been left out of Antonio Conte’s plans at Tottenham Hotspur and has an option to continue in the Premier League by joining Nottingham Forest.

The Tricky Trees are not alone as Juventus are in the picture to sign the left-back, if a report from TuttoMercatoWeb is correct.

The Serie A side have carried out the first poll with Tottenham, while Nottingham Forest are ‘still ahead’ in the chase.

TMW state Steve Cooper’s side are ‘aiming to close’ the deal for the 25-year-old in the ‘next few hours’.

Apart from Juve, Lazio are showing interest in the former Real Madrid man Corriere dello Sport say the possibility of Francesco Acerbi joining Inter Milan would open the door for the Italian capital club to sign the Spurs defender.

Nottingham Forest have made an offer to the Spain international, but he has put them on the ‘second row and frozen the proposal’ made by them.

That’s because Reguilón wants to leave Tottenham only for a big club and the prospect of playing regularly in Serie A appeals him.

Whether Lazio fit the bill of a ‘big club’ remains to be seen.
