Norwich City player expected to leave the club on Thursday, medical soon

Sdna.Gr report AEK are close to confirming the arrival of Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira in this transfer window.

It’s reported that the club’s other big signing Daniele Verde will arrive in Greece on Thursday to have a medical, and Olympicaos officials are expecting Oliveira to arrive on same day as the AS Roma player to complete the formalities of his transfer.

We covered initial claims from Greece with regards to AEK’s interest in the 27 year old, who looks surplus to requirements at Carrow Road under Daniel Farke. During the second half of last season he was loaned out to Reading.

The player’s agent is now completing the official documents for the potential transfer and after that Oliveira will have his medical.

Earlier reports from the Greek media claimed the forward is likely to join AEK on a three year deal which will see him earn €1m a season.

The former Benfica player, who’s also had spells at Swansea City and Nottingham Forest, is under contract with the Premier League new boys until June 2020.
