Brazilian outlet UOL today brings a few updates on Willian’s situation at Chelsea.

They claim the player is indeed ‘close’ to leaving the club, since their last offer for an extension hasn’t been accepted by him.

It’s said Willian wanted a three-year contract and a pay rise, but the Blues only put on the table a deal of two years with his current salary.

The winger has approaches from Italian and Spanish sides, but his staff won’t reveal the names of the clubs to have made an effort to sign him.

UOL claims that Willian’s entourage is waiting for offers to come once his contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season. And Neymar’s future could have an impact on it.

That’s because Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona have both approached Willian in the past. So in case Neymar moves back to the Camp Nou, the French side may replace him with the Chelsea player. And if Barça don’t manage to sign Neymar, then Willian would be an option for the Catalan club once again.
