Nottingham Forest loanee Joe Worrall is set for a big challenge at Besiktas in the coming days.

While the defender still tries to prove himself at his new club on loan, the Turkish media now highlights the importance of a good performance in Monday’s match against Antalyaspor.

Outlet Milliyet today points out that with the absence of Omar Colley, who’s suspended, Joe Worrall will finally get another chance to start there.

The Nottingham Forest loanee hasn’t convinced at Besiktas so far, and is struggling to get a starting place, with just a couple of appearances made.

The game is then taken as a ‘test’, as it will ‘probably determine’ his future. In case he fails to impress, then the Turkish club will not use the purchase option they have in the deal for him.

It’s not really known how much Besiktas would have to pay Nottingham Forest to make the transfer permanent. He’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €12m.

Now the Reds will certainly be keeping an eye on Monday’s game, as his potential return to the City Ground would require a new solution for him in the next summer.
