With Napoli aiming for big changes ahead of next season, it seems they have a ambitious plan to reinforce their squad.

Area Napoli today reports that among the targets the Serie A side have for the summer, there is Newcastle United youngster Yankuba Minteh.

The website highlights the great season the player is having during his loan at Feyenoord so far, and says he’s one to keep an eye on.

The big problem in this story is that they take Transfermarkt as the main reference for his price, claiming he’s currently worth €12m.

Despite being just 19, Minteh has ten goals and four assists in 32 appearances for Feyenoord this season, and we must say how unlikely it is that Newcastle would sell him for that little.

We’ve recently seen reports from the Netherlands calling the youngster the best player in the league at the weekend, and that’s a clear sign he’s more than approved at Feyenoord.

It seems Napoli’s interest is in the very early stages, and in case they do go for the signing, they should soon get to know how much he’s really worth it.
