Italian newspaper Tuttosport today has an interesting update on Napoli’s stance regarding the sale of Arkadiusz Milik this summer.
Even though the club could lose the striker for free next year, they believe that’s unlikely, since clubs such as Newcastle United, AS Roma and Tottenham are all interested and could take him before that.
The Giallorossi seem to be the strongest club in the race, since they are in advanced negotiations with Napoli and could now find an agreement with the player. However, Italian reports on Tuesday afternoon have stated Milik is currently against this idea.
Regarding Newcastle and Tottenham, it’s said both Premier League sides have now started to ‘ask for information’ about signing the 26-year-old.
The outlet doesn’t say how much Roma, Newcastle or Tottenham could pay for the player, or how much Napoli are currently demanding for the move.
Other Italian reports have said Napoli have dropped their asking price to €20m plus bonuses.
Tottenham have been involved in this rumour for some days, and now Newcastle are also being pulled in.
