Newcastle are expected to make changes to their squad this summer, with a few players expected to leave.

Rafael Benitez faces a daunting task of convincing Moussa Sissoko to stay, as he is likely to have offers from other clubs. Newcastle are in real danger of losing Frenchman this summer, and reports suggest they’ve already been looking for replacements.

Losing the Sissoko who played for Newcastle last year wouldn’t be such a blow, losing the one who played for France this summer would be.

According to Dutch website Soccer News, Anderlecht star Frank Acheampong is on the wish-list of Newcastle.

Soccer News, however, admit there is only a small chance Acheampong will leave the club this summer.

Newcastle signed Chancel Mbemba and Aleksandar Mitrovic, and have good relations with Anderlecht which would certainly help them complete any deal.

There were similar report on the website African Top Sports with them suggesting Watford are also following the 22-year-old, but he is unlikely to leave this summer except for a very tempting offer.

The Ghanian still has another three years left on his contract, so there is no rush to sell him as well.
