It seems that a lot of Leeds United players can now leave on free transfers after the club’s relegation back to the Championship.

Rodrigo Moreno seems on his way to Sevilla where he will reunite with Victor Orta, while Robin Koch is also a candidate for a transfer in the coming weeks.

The latest on the pursuit of the Leeds defender comes from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who took to Twitter to bring his information.

He says that Bayer Leverkusen have now ‘entered the race’ for the German centre-back, as they see him as a potential replacement for Jonathan Tah.

The interest is reported as being ‘concrete’, but the Bundesliga side could face competition from within their league.

This is because he is ‘also a candidate’ for Eintracht Frankfurt, while an unnamed club from the Premier League ‘seems to be in pole position for now’.

The race to sign the Leeds star is ‘open’, and the list of suitors could possibly keep growingg since ‘he can leave’ the Elland Road side ‘on a free deal’.

Bild had earlier also reported that Koch can leave as a free agent, and those claims appear to be coming from the player’s camp.
