With the league fixtures now done for the week, all attention has turned to European football, with some exciting games ahead.

Among those will be the Paris Saint-Germain, RB Leipzig and Manchester United Champions League qualification battle, which Everton loanee Moise Kean will be hoping to have a say in.

The Italian striker, loaned to the Ligue 1 club for the season, has been a success during the first half of the campaign in France, scoring five goals in his first seven league appearances.

Already doing far better than he did at Goodison Park, the 20-year-old has been the talk of the city, and there are questions already being asked about his future.

Having loaned him for free, the Toffees are expecting him back next season unless they reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain.

The future isn’t something Kean is actively thinking about for now, as he said as much in a press conference ahead of the fixture against Istanbul Basaksehir.

He said, relayed by RMC Sport journalist Loïc Tanzi: “I’m focused on PSG for now. It’s a good thing for me and you never know in the future. Ligue 1 is a good league, you can learn a lot.”

Is that a small door creaking open for a future transfer?

As for his competition with Mauro Icardi for a starting role, the youngster isn’t bothered.

He added: “Mauro is one of the best strikers in the world. He’s injured for now and when he comes back, it’ll be a good competition. I’m looking to give myself 100%.”
