Everton have been brought into the Ricardo Pereira chase by Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
In their Sunday edition, A Bola build up the idea of growing interest in the FC Porto right back, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton being interested in England. Earlier this month, Sport Witness was able to confirm interest from Leicester City too, so Pereira is clearly a wanted man.
The Portuguese newspaper add Juventus, Valencia and Nice to the equation, and A Bola reckon there’s a potential value deal for someone.
Pereirea has a €20m buyout clause according to Sunday’s claims, and it’s stated that ‘won’t be a big problem’ for Everton, with the newspaper detailing how much the club spent on big signings last summer.
It must be said that Pereira’s release clause has been put at different amounts over the past few months. Whilst A Bola today say it’s €20m, it’s previously been put at €25m and €35m.€20m seems a steal.
