Manchester City’s process of signing Brazilian midfielder Diego Rosa continues to move forward.
The latest reports from South America say the 17-year-old has already passed his medical ahead of his transfer to the Premier League side.
Outlet Zero Hora reports that the player didn’t join Grêmio for their training session in Porto Alegre on Monday, as he flew to Rio de Janeiro followed by his agent.
The player should remain in Brazil for a few months more, since he’s only turning 18 years of age in mid October. Since his birthday is taking place after the end of the summer transfer window, he’s only able to move to England in the January market.
Zero Hora continues to say that the player will initially be loaned out to Belgian side Lommel. They also take claims from Globo Esporte to say Manchester City are paying €10m for the transfer, with bonuses which could make the deal reach up to €24m.
