The closer we get to the January transfer window, the more certain rumours are going to get pushed, and Lucas Moura’s Paris Saint-Germain exit is top of the list in France.

We’ve pretty much covered everything of interest that’s been mentioned across the internet since Chelsea were linked with the Brazilian forward, targeting the 24-year-old as a potential Willian replacement.

Well, FootMercato in France have claimed on Monday that a meeting is expected to take place between Lucas’ representatives and the Ligue 1 leaders in a couple weeks.

The topic of discussion will unsurprisingly be the alleged Chelsea target’s future at the club, with previous reports claiming Unai Emery has already told his player he needs to find a new club over the coming weeks.

However, if Antonio Conte and his staff really are interested in Lucas, then they’ll have to face competition from China, as the same website claim an unnamed Chinese side are preparing an attempt to sign him in January.

It seems that we’ll know a bit more in a couple of weeks, but, until then, expect a few more stories to pop up anyway.
