This week, former Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini spoke to the Italian media regarding some summer business that the Blues could be involved in this summer.

The 47-year-old, who now works for the Stamford Bridge side as a scout, has given his opinion on the situations of Timoue Bakayoko and Fikayo Tomori.

His quotes about these players have been doing the rounds in the European press in the past few days, and it turns out Cudicini also had a couple of lines to say regarding Marina Granovskaia.

Speaking to Sky Italia, the former goalkeeper was asked about Roman Abramovich’s team at the club, specifically Granovskaia. He’s made it clear that he has big admiration for what she’s been doing at Chelsea all these years in an important position.

“She’s certainly done good for Chelsea in recent years, a Chelsea that has had great successes,” Cudicini told Sky Italia (via Milan News 24).

“Many things have been said, she’s certainly a tough nut to crack. For Chelsea it’s certainly a good thing to have someone who knows how to sit at the table with other important and capable people.

“She’s a woman who lives for Chelsea, has a great passion for the club. As a person who has worked at Chelsea for many years I can only take off my hat, what matters are the results.”
