Marca update on Monday: Samu Saiz is ‘about to sign’ For Leeds United

 

In their Monday edition, Marca have a small article which will be of interest to Leeds United supporters.

Every day Marca have a section on every La Liga club, and at this time of year it’s all about transfers.

Eibar, who finished 10th in La Liga last season, have some bad news, with Marca saying Samu Saiz, who it had been thought was on the verge of joining the Spanish club, is actually ‘about to sign’ for Leeds United.

Marca claim the reason Leeds are about to beat Eibar is simply down to money, with the Championship club offering Saiz a higher salary. In this latest update there’s no mention of the transfer fee Leeds United will be paying to SD Huesca if the deal goes through.

Eibar have pretty much given up and are already moving on to other options.

Saiz is a 26 year old forward, right footed and flexible in his position. With a contract running out in June 2018, Huesca are under pressure to sell the player.
