Manchester United will not drag negotiations for the departure of Romelu Lukaku on for much longer, according to the Italian media.

Outlet Tutto Mercato Web says the Red Devils have set a deadline for Inter Milan to move for the striker, and that’s the end of this week.

The biggest reason for it is the Premier League transfer window for arrivals closes on the 8th of August, so Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side still need some time to find a replacement.

Inter Milan are said to be ‘considering’ matching Manchester United’s asking price, which is €85m, with no inclusion of other players in the deal.

Tutto Mercato Web claims Frederico Pastorello, Lukaku’s agent, already has an agreement with Inter Milan. The Belgian striker is supposed to be signing a five year deal, should he move, making €9m per season.

But for Antonio Conte’s wish to become true, it seems the Nerazzurri need to agree this one very quickly. Manchester United have set an ‘ultimatum’.
