The Italian media won’t shut up about Manchester United wanting to sign Gleison Bremer in the summer window.

There’s been repeated insistence that the defender can be signed for €60-70m and that Juventus wouldn’t look badly on the deal. That’s not because they don’t rate the Brazilian defender, but more so they feel there’s some Italian youngsters coming through that the money could be spent on.

Last summer, it was a similar situation with the Italian media, Kim Min-jae and Manchester United. In the end, the South Korean moved to Bayern Munich from Napoli, making all the Red Devils claims look a little silly.

Whether it’s the same with Bremer remains to be seen.

Regardless, Gazzetta dello Sport continue and it’s stated Manchester United are ‘pressing’ for the defender, a claim which has stayed pretty level for weeks now.

On top of that, and once again, Mason Greenwood is brought into the situation. Juventus are keen on the player and there’s a belief that talks between the two clubs for Bremer could lead to a transfer each way.
