Manchester United full-back Alex Telles has revealed he hasn’t had to do much adapting since his arrival at the club.

The Brazilian left-back arrived at Old Trafford in the summer, signing a four-year deal at the club after a move from FC Porto.

He’s had a difficult start to life in England, having had to wait to get going and make his debut for United after testing positive for Coronavirus.

Since then he’s been in and out of Manchester United’s starting eleven.

The change in clubs has seen Telles having to adapt in various ways, with Manchester United undoubtedly the biggest club he has played for and the Premier League similarly completely different to where he’s been before.

He, though, insists getting used to United’s style of play hasn’t been all that difficult and he hasn’t had to make much of a change personally.

“I already knew that [football in England] would be more physical, more intense, but I am preparing for that,” O Jogo report him saying to Sport TV.

“I do my personal work; I believe that I am not changing my way of playing, which is quite offensive.

“But I am also focused on the defensive part; it is not very different from what I did before.

“I already had a very high demand with Sérgio Conceição. Now I am working to evolve more and more.”
