Alberto Moleiro is one of the endless players Barcelona are considering ahead of the upcoming two transfer windows.

Despite spending big in the last summer market, Xavi Hernandez still feels that his squad needs more and whilst they’re mainly looking at older players towards the end of their contracts, there’s a few youngsters being thrown in too.

That’s the case with Moleiro, and Mundo Deportivo report Manchester City and Real Madrid are now also ‘pursuing’ the 19-year-old’s signing, after Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund had already moved into the picture.

Liverpool being in the mix was already big competition for Barca, so adding Manchester City and Real Madrid just makes things even harder for the Blaugrana.

The attacking midfielder currently plays for UD Las Palmas in the Spanish second division. He has a contract lasting until June 2026, and a release clause which currently stands at €30m.

That clause increases to €60m should Las Palmas be promoted, and the club are currently second place in LaLIga2.
