Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has ‘just signed’ a three-year contract with Al-Nassr, with an announcement expected soon on the move.

That’s according to journalist Santi Aouna, who says the defender has signed a three-year deal with the Saudi Arabian club until 2026.

Reports earlier this week indicated that Manchester City had struck an agreement with Al-Nassr for the defender, who they were keen to move on after the arrival of Josko Gvardiol.

Those reports indicated that Laporte would be travelling to Saudi Arabia this week to complete the move and were followed by claims today that he had already completed his medical and was due to fly out before the deal was announced.

It seems the next step towards that happening has now taken place as Aouna reports Laporte has ‘just signed’ his three-year deal with the Saudi Arabian club.

All that needs to happen now is for them and Manchester City to announce the deal and him to officially become the latest high-profile name to make the move the Middle East this summer.
