Fanatik report Fenerbahce are looking to complete the loan signing of Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen before the start of the season.

The Turkish newspaper say Fenerbahce are currently down to the bare bones after Roberto Soldado’s injury, and subsequently they have no senior striker at their disposal.

Fenerbahce manager Phillip Cocu is looking to sign Janssen as the Dutchman believes his compatriot should have no problems adapting to his team, having been in Turkey last season.

According to Fanatik, Cocu has met with Janssen personally about the transfer, and the former PSV boss has told the Spurs player he wants to see him at the club ahead of next season.

It’s claimed Janssen is pushing hard for the move and has reportedly told Tottenham he wants to play for Fenerbahce next season.
