As Manchester United seem to be on the verge of completing the signing of Antony from Ajax, the Brazilian media shares some information.

TNT Sports journalist Arthur Quezada writes that the winger should sign a contract with the Red Devils and be announced by the club on Monday.

Antony is set to sign a five-year deal with Manchester United, and manager Erik ten Hag is said to have some immediate plans to use the player as quickly as possible.

According to the story, despite the issues with ‘documentation and bureaucracies’, the ‘idea’ at the Red Devils is for the player to be available for the match against Arsenal on Sunday.

As previously reported by the Brazilian and the English media, Manchester United are paying €100m for Antony after having several previous offers turned down by Ajax.

The 22-year-old, who spent the past few weeks insisting the Eredivisie side let him complete the move to Old Trafford, is leaving the club with 24 goals and 22 assists in 82 appearances.
