Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb today shows up with an interesting reporting regarding Inter Milan’s interest in a Manchester United player.

According to the website, the Nerazzurri are keen on Di’Shon Bernard, who’s part of the Red Devils’ U-21 squad.

The report claims the Premier League side are ‘ready to free him’, and points out that Inter Milan are not the only club who are interested in signing him this summer.

Bernard has been at Manchester United since 2017, when he joined from Chelsea’s academy.

In the past couple of seasons, he had loans at Salford and Hull City, getting some experience in the League Two and the Championship.

The defender has only one appearance for the Old Trafford side, and that was made in 2019, when he played for the 90 minutes of a Europa League group stag clash against Astana.

With Manchester United not sending him on a new loan and unlikely to have a place for him in the first team, it would therefore be no surprise to see Erik ten Hag letting him leave this summer.
