On Monday, Marca provided a positive update on Manchester United’s chase for Real Madrid’s Sergio Reguilón.

The left-back spent last season on loan at Sevilla, and the possibility of returning to the Andalusian club has now disappeared after they signed Marcos Acuña from Sporting.

That’s what Mundo Deportivo are reporting today, and they state the 23-year-old looks like the next player to leave the Santiago Bernabéu in this window.

As per the report, his sale should help the La Liga winners raise close to €30m.

It’s claimed the Premier League is the destination that appeals to Reguilón, and United and Tottenham Hotspur have him on their ‘list of objectives’ for this summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are ‘most advanced’ for signing the Spain international, but Real Madrid’s desire to include a buyback clause has slowed down the negotiations between the two clubs and his agent, Kia Joorabchian.

AS state the fullback finds the option to join the Red Devils ‘tempting’, as the English club continue their efforts to secure his services.

Reguilón is currently recovering from an injury he suffered on international duty and is also waiting for his future to be resolved before the window closes on October 5th.
