Manchester United are monitoring Ligue 1 midfielder Romain Faivre.

That’s what Le10 Sport are reporting about the player who swapped AS Monaco for Brest last summer.

Having struggled for minutes with Monaco’s first team, the 22-year-old swapped Ligue 1 clubs.

The midfielder has been featuring regularly in his debut season at Brest and has contributed with four goals and three assists in 17 league matches.

Le10 state the France U21 international has been ‘one of the revelations’ of the moment, just months after completing a €500,000 move.

Faivre’s stellar start at the club convinced Brest to extend his contract until 2025 and this news was announced on Christmas Eve. At the same time, several clubs are keeping an eye on the player.

Le10 explains Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are ‘watching him’.

The website, however, adds it’s a ‘simple observation’ from PSG, but there is interest from them. Regarding United, the report states the Old Trafford side are ‘attentive’ to Faivre’s ‘performances’.

PSG and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side ‘watching him’ is enough for Faivre to ‘want to continue his extraordinary rise’.
