On Tuesday, Romelu Lukaku heavily hinted with a wink and a smile that he favoured a move to Chelsea in the summer.

The Everton striker is expected to be one of the more expensive transfers of the window, and with clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly after him, he could have a big decision to make.

A self-professed Blues fan, going to Stamford Bridge would be his ideal choice, yet, according to DH in Belgium, Mino Raiola appears to have different plans for his client.

In fact, the Dutch agent would much prefer it if Lukaku teamed up once again with José Mourinho, this time at Old Trafford.

Fresh off last summer’s deals for Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Raiola appearly sees his other big client wearing red next season, which appears to stem from the fact a deal with Manchester United would be far easier to conclude, as well as the fact that Diego Costa stands in Lukaku’s way at Chelsea.

Wanting what’s best for his clients, Raiola clearly sees guaranteed game time at Manchester United as the better move this summer for the Belgium international, even if the striker himself disagrees.

We’ll have to see who wins this one, and we’re sure the answer will be given to us in the coming weeks so that Lukaku can head off on holiday knowing he’ll be playing Champions League football, one of his desires, next season.
