Italian newspaper Tuttosport share some news today on Aston Villa’s interest in Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior.

Pointing out that the 19-year-old has ‘long been on Monchi’s list’, the outlet explains that the Villans may come for his signing this summer.

It’s claimed that in the past few days, the interest has been ‘rekindled’, as Aston Villa could soon be back with an attempt to get him.

That signing, however, seems to depend on the sale of Leon Bailey. Tuttosport explain he seems close to moving to Saudi Arabia, and the Juventus player shows up as an alternative.

The Bianconeri are said to be demanding €25m for Iling. Despite their need for sales, he’s not a player they’re desperately offering in the market. They actually have big expectations for him, and will only let him go in case an ‘important offer arrives’.

Aston Villa should be aware about the Premier League competition for him, since Everton are also said to be interested in his signing. That may be a reason why they can’t wait too long to make their move.
