With Roberto Firmino set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, the Brazilian media today shares some news on the options he has on the table.

Torcedores features a story where their main focus is the possibility of his move to Flamengo, which has been highly requested by their fans on social media.

The report, however, claims the Liverpool striker is very unlikely to make a switch to Brazil, especially for money reasons. Then they explain how things currently stand for the 31-year-old.

It’s said that Firmino doesn’t want to stay in the Premier League. After eight years at Anfield, he ‘intends to change countries’ and go play somewhere else.

Torcedores then says that some of the clubs who are ‘possible destinations’ for him are Barcelona, Benfica, Borussia Dortmund and Roma.

Featuring for Liverpool this season, Firmino has ten goals and five assists in 29 appearances. He holds a total record of 108 goals and 79 assists in 356 games for the club.

Since he’s leaving the Reds at the end of his contract, it’s only the striker who will have a say on his future.
