Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch is on Liverpool’s radar for the summer window.

That’s according to Sport1, who say the Reds are interested in the midfielder in a report that explains his struggles in his first season.

Bayern sacked Julian Nagelsmann and appointed Thomas Tuchel as his successor last week.

The report says the Netherlands international was one of the players who didn’t get along well with Nagelsmann.

Prior to his arrival from Ajax last summer, the Bundesliga winners had convinced the 20-year-old he would have regular minutes at the club. Therefore, he rejected Manchester United for Bayern.

Nagelsmann and his coaching staff were not in favour of his arrival, which is why he was not relied upon this season. The Dutchman has clocked less than 700 minutes from 24 games. After Nagelsmann’s exit, Gravenberch wants to take his chance under Tuchel.

In the event the ex-Ajax man fails to have prominence under Tuchel this season, a move in the summer is a ‘conceivable option’ for him. When discussing his suitors, it’s explained Liverpool are interested in Gravenberch.

In need to bolster their midfield in the summer, Liverpool could monitor Gravenberch’s situation at Bayern in the coming weeks.

Given his situation, Liverpool may be able to get themselves an interesting signing, perhaps even with a loan stay first.
