Already plucking Timothy Castagne from Atalanta last year, Leicester City could return to the Serie A side in order to get another full-back.
This time, it’s Robin Gosens, who has caught the eye of many big clubs around Europe, and TuttoMercatoWeb are reporting on Thursday that the Foxes have taken the matter into their own hands.
There has apparently been ‘no lack of requests and proposal’ for the German player, including the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Atlético Madrid, Juventus and Manchester City.
Now, it’s Leicester’s turn, say TuttoMercatoWeb, who claim ‘the negotiation with the Foxes is well set up’.
That being said, before saying yes to a move to the Premier League side, Gosens ‘wants the guarantee that Brendan Rodgers’ side end up in the Champions League’.
The offer is said to be of €25m + bonuses, with all this described as an ‘important acceleration of Leicester’.
In fact, they go as far as saying we could have some news about this ‘in the next two weeks’.
