With already over 100 professional games under his belt, Han-Noah Massengo has become quite important for Bristol City.
The 20-year-old boasted 39 games for the the Robins in the recently finished campaign, but whether his future remains in England remains to be seen.
We say this because RMC Sport in France are reporting that OGC Nice are interested in the midfielder for next season, as they prepare to bolster their squad this summer, alongside Leicester City.
The French outlet explain that while Bristol City have handed Massengo a contract renewal offer, there are clubs who are starting to take interest that could pull him away from Ashton Gate.
One of those is Leicester, who have ‘already initiated first contacts’ about signing the former Monaco starlet, while Nice have done the same, ‘entering more concretely in the active phase of recruiting’ the player.
In fact, ‘several meetings have already taken place’ between the Ligue 1 side and the Bristol City player’s representatives.
That doesn’t mean Leicester are out of the race, though. It just means they have a bit more work to do to get back in front of Nice.
