It seems Leicester City would have to spend a few million more in case they really want to sign Bruno Viana from Braga.

Linked to the defender earlier this week, the Foxes would pay between £8m and £10m to get him, according to the English press.

But the Portuguese media comes up with different claims today, saying it would be unlikely for the player to be that cheap.

Newspaper A Bola points out Viana is actually protected by a €25m release clause. And even if Braga president Antonio Salvador accepts to negotiate the player, it’s unlikely that the Brazilian would go for less than €15m.

With other clubs such as Leeds United, Watford and Wolverhampton Wanderers all getting linked to the player, it really seems likely that he’s price is going up in case of an auction.

Braga are also known as good sellers, so Leicester City better be prepared.
