The Stefano Sturaro saga is increasingly irritating. It’s clear Juventus want to sell the player, and his agent has confirmed interest from several clubs, but there seems to be a cycle of sides that he’s close to joining.
Leicester City have already had their turn, and then West Ham, and then Newcastle, and then West Ham again, and now Leicester again.
Turin newspaper Tuttosport reports on Friday that Leicester are moving for the player, and mention none of the other usually linked clubs, which also includes Wolves and Southampton to some degree.
Juventus are said to still be clinging to their initial €20m optimistic valuation for the midfielder and he has ‘several admirers’ in the Premier League.
Now it’s just a matter of waiting for the ‘final lunge’ from Leicester to complete the signing.
The Foxes may well be interested and Tuttosport claims could be the latest development in the situation, but so much has been claimed it’s becoming tiresome.
