According to Voetbal Nieuws, Leicester City will tonight send a scout to the game between Club Brugge and AEK Athens.
In recent seasons Premier League sides have been sending officials to Belgium to get a lowdown on the talent being produced in the country, with many players arriving from the country in previous transfer windows.
Voetbal Nieuws have confirmed Leicester City are on the scouting list for the Europa League play off in Brugge tonight. The Foxes will be joined by fellow Premier League clubs Manchester United and Manchester City.
Such is the interest in the game, AS Monaco, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayer Leverkusen, Werder Bremen, Olympique Lyon and Lille will all also have representatives at the game.
It’s not been reported who Leicester City or any of the other clubs will be casting an eye on, but the former Premier League champions know Brugge well from their encounters last season.
Leicester City were drawn against the Jupiler side in the group stage of the Champions League, and it’s possible a player may have caught their eye during the two games.
