As the rumours linking Arnaud Kalimuendo to Leeds United continue, we today get to see something about the competition to sign the Paris Saint-Germain striker this summer.

An update brought by journalist Fabrice Hawkins claims the player now draws the interest from Italy, since he’s ‘tracked’ by Inter Milan.

It’s said the player’s relatives were ‘even invited’ to see a match of the Nerazzurri a few weeks ago.

The report, however, doesn’t forget about the Elland Road side’s’ chase, claiming ‘Leeds are there as well’.

Even though manager Christophe Galtier, who’s expected to take charge of PSG, wanted to work with Kalimuendo when he was at Nice, it’s still said the ‘trend leans towards an exit’ for the player.

A couple of weeks ago, the French media reported Leeds United’s first offer to sign the striker.

That story didn’t say how much the Whites had offered, and claimed the Parisian side were demanding €22m to let him go.

Despite confirmation from the Italian media about the Elland Road side’s interest, the saga went a little quiet since then, and it seems a battle with Inter Milan could be going on to land the 20-year-old.
