According to a claim in the Danish media, the agent of Leeds United forward Pawel Cibicki recently held a meeting with Brondby’s sporting director, with regards for a move for his client.

The 23 year old joined Leeds United in the last window, but has struggled to games since his arrival at Elland Road.

Tipsbladet have reported Brondby sporting director Troels Bech last month held a meeting with the Leeds United player’s agent at the Hilton Hotel in Copenhagen.

It’s claimed the Danish side were floating the idea of Cibicki signing for the club, but it’s been confirmed no further meetings are expected.

Cibicki joined Leeds United from Malmo in August for a fee in the region of £1.9m. However, the youngster hadn’t played any minutes in the league until the game with QPR last weekend, with his only other games coming in the EFL Cup.

The Swede impressed in the victory over QPR, assisting Kemar Roofe’s second goal, and the youngster will be hoping to get more chances in the coming weeks due to injuries to Caleb Ekuban and Pierre-Michel Lassoga.
