Feyenoord star Luis Sinisterra ‘will play for Leeds’ and is set to complete a move to Elland Road imminently.

That’s according to journalist César Luis Merlo, who says a fee has now been agreed with the Dutch side for the forward.

Reports over the last few days have indicated that Leeds are closing in on a deal for Sinisterra as they eye a replacement for Raphinha, who continues to negotiate a potential move to Barcelona.

Talks between Leeds and Feyenoord have been quickly moving forward, and Merlo says they’ve now advanced, with a €25m plus €5m in bonuses deal agreed. That will be the most expensive sale in the Dutch side’s history.

Negotiations between Leeds and Feyenoord are now completed, and they are ‘all agreed’. The player will travel to Elland Road ‘in the next few hours’ for a medical.

Should he complete that as expected, he will then sign a deal until June 2027 and become Leeds United’s fifth new signing of the summer. A very busy period for the club.
