Even though Milan spent the entire summer chasing Tiemoué Bakayoko from Chelsea, the fact that the transfer window closes on Tuesday means it’s time to rush a little to get things done.

And it looks like the Rossoneri are indeed making the final moves, because according to reports from Italy, today is a ‘key day’ for the transfer to happen.

Pianeta Milan says the clubs will be in touch once again today, and the Serie A giants will be looking to close the operation.

In case things go fine, then Bakayoko could be in Italy tomorrow to have his medical and sign for Milan.

Pianeta Milan says Bakayoko should arrive at Milan on a loan with an option to buy, claiming that although many people have been saying the clause would be of €20m, there’s actually a chance the permanent move could be done for less.

This is said to be the final issue to be sorted between clubs, as the coming hours will be decisive to convince Chelsea to accept a fair deal.
