Watford should soon be making a move for AS Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen, according to the Italian media today.

Website Tutto Mercato Web starts their story by saying the Serie A side have ‘put the player on the market’, looking for a summer sale.

And the only club named in the chase for him are Watford, who would have a ‘bid ready to take him to the Premier League’.

Tutto Mercato Web doesn’t say how much Roma would demand or how much is being offered by the Hornets, but they do make it sound like a deal wouldn’t be hard to find.

Olsen joined Roma on a €9m deal from FC Copenhagen, and is a regular starter for the club in the Serie A, so it’s a bit strange to see them making him available at this stage of the season.

Regardless of that, we’ll be keeping an eye on this one for Watford.
