Inter Milan continue being linked to many players everyday, as has seemed the way for several years. On Thursday, as Calcio Mercato News claims, the club’s priority is to strengthen their defence, and a West Ham ace is being mentioned.

The website says that the Italian club could be formulating an offer for Angelo Ogbonna soon. As Inter currently have only three central defenders, the idea would be to sign the 28-year-old during the winter market.

Ogbonna’s price would be around €12m and, according to the claims, the player would be keen on a move back to Italy, where he played for Juventus before moving to West Ham in 2015 for €11m.

A few weeks ago, Calcio Mercato News has also linked Inter Milan to Manchester United’s Daley Blind. They said the player is valued at €23m and would also be a signing for January.

We couldn’t believe the Blind story, and although Ogbonna seems to be a more realistic target, maybe it’s a case of putting enough names out there and one will be correct.
