When N’Golo Kanté finally left the Premier League champions to go to Chelsea, a big question about who would take his role next season started growing.

The Italian newspaper state that AS Roma’s Leandro Paredes is of great interest to Claudio Ranieri, who would be prepared to make a €22m offer for the Argentinean midfielder.
The player isn’t considered a guaranteed starter by Luciano Spalletti, who already has the likes of Radja Nainggolan, Daniele De Rossi and (hopefully) Kevin Strootman to choose from, and the Premier League champions would apparently be happy to take him off their hands.
This seems like a bit of a wild claim, and against what Leicester City are trying to do this summer, but if Ranieri considers the player perfect for his system, an offer could be on its way soon.
