In July 2018, Chelsea sacked their manager Antonio Conte and appointed Maurizio Sarri as his successor.

The 60-year-old, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from Napoli, signed a three-year deal with the Blues and had a good start to his career in England.

However, things have not been great for the west London club in 2019 as they have managed to win only six out of the 12 matches played in all competitions and have dropped to sixth place in the league table.

Earlier today, Catalan newspaper Sport reported that Roman Abramovich’s patience is ‘running out’ with Sarri and the latter could be replaced by Zinedine Zidane at the club.

Chelsea face Manchester City in the EFL CUP final on Sunday and if the Italian manager fails to help the London club beat Pep Guardiola’s side, then he could be shown the door.

If the English side decided to sack Sarri, then they will have to pay him compensation and the figures have now been revealed by Calciomercato.

The Italian website says that Chelsea will have to pay £5m to part ways with their manager.

They claim it should not be too much for Abramovich.
