Yesterday we covered the news that Besiktas president Fikret Orman had travelled to London with the purpose of sorting out transfers, and according to CNN Turk and TRT Spor’s Fırat Günayer, Manchester City’s Samir Nasri is top of his agenda.

Besiktas are in the process of signing Wolverhampton Wonderers target Anderson Talisca from Benfica on 2-year loan deal and now want to add a versatile attacking midfielder who can both play on the wings and in a number 10 role.

Besiktas want City’s Frenchman on loan, and the most important player agent in Turkey, Ahmet Bulut, is in discussions with Manchester City officials about Nasri.

Nasri joined Manchester City back in 2011, but injuries and some off-field issues hampered his progress at the Etihad. He needs a fresh start to his career after Pep Guardiola left him out because of his lack of fitness, and City have lots of players who can play in Nasri’s position.

Besiktas can offer Nasri guaranteed Champions League football and a title race, but it”s far from a done deal. Nasri has made 175 appearances for Manchester City, scoring 27 goals.
