A section of Manchester United fans expressed their unhappiness on social networking platforms on Wednesday after reports emerging from France suggested the Red Devils have had contacts with Corentin Tolisso’s entourage.
The Bayern Munich midfielder is currently sidelined with an ankle injury and was successful operated for the same on April 21st.
The claims of the Red Devils holding talks the 25-year-old’s entourage reached the German media, and Sky Germany in particular decided to take a look at these reports by contacting the France international’s agent Eric Castagnino for an update.
“I’m not having any discussions with Manchester United! Corentin is currently injured and his return to the field is currently an absolute priority,” Castagnino said.
The former Lyon man’s current deal at the Allianz Arena is until 2022 and Sky further explained a transfer remains an option ‘for all parties’.
However, there has been ‘no concrete’ development over a summer move. According to the report, even Inter Milan, who showed interest in past, have not moved for the player.
Tolisso has struggled with multiple injuries in the last two years and has missed more than 40 games in all competitions for the Bundesliga side since then.
