You might recall an article from late May where a member of the French media claimed Antero Henrique had been given a ‘mandate’ by Manchester United to sort out a deal for Corentin Tolisso.

Le10 Sport were the ones reporting it, explaining the idea of signing for the Red Devils ‘didn’t leave him indifferent’, after the Portuguese had got in touch with the player and his entourage.

This was said to have gone on ‘for a few weeks’, and there is now further confirmation that Manchester United are interested in the French midfielder.

RMC Sport’s Mohamed Bouhafsi took to social media on Wednesday afternoon to explain Tolisso has been given an ‘exit pass’ by Bayern Munich for this summer as long as they get ‘at least €35m’.

Manchester United and Inter are named as the two clubs interested by what the player has to offer, and the journalist goes onto add the Premier League side ‘have started talks with the midfielder’s entourage’.

So that’s now two sources claiming this, with the latter confirming the previous report from May 19th.

It certainly seems like there could be something in it, and at that price, it’s certainly an appealing deal.
