As Brazilian star Raphael Veiga is today highlighted in an interview with Spanish newspaper AS, we get to see a mention of Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United.

The Palmeiras player spoke to the outlet about Endrick, his teammate who’s soon joining Real Madrid, but was also asked about his own career, as he’s already made his way towards the national team, even though he’s never played abroad.

Veiga was asked whether he’d like to move to Europe, and claimed that even at the age of 28, that’s still an objective of his.

“I have the desire to play in Europe, but I’m also very happy to play for Palmeiras. I think any player has the dream of playing in the Old Continent to compete with the best players in the world, to participate in the big championships… Me too, but I am a happy person and if that happens one day it will happen at the right time, and it will be very satisfying, and if it doesn’t happen, I will continue to be happy here.”

Then when asked about his favourite clubs there, he gave Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United a mention.

“I like a lot of teams in Europe. Barcelona, Madrid, City, Arsenal and others like Manchester United… It’s difficult to say just one. There are impressive teams and they all have something special and interesting.”

Veiga is the kind of player who’s been linked to several clubs in the past few years, with claims last year saying Arsenal are one of the clubs who made contact for his signing. Regarding Manchester City, that’s not the first time he’s hinted he’d like to play for Pep Guardiola’s side.

We all know it’s getting late for him to move to Europe, though, so let’s see if something happens this year.
