Chelsea loanee Lucas Piazon continues to say he doesn’t mind staying at Fulham after the end of the his loan spell.

The Brazilian player has already stated this a few times when speaking to his home country’s media, and has done so again.

Piazon has given an interview to Globo Esporte, and had a lot to say about the loan spell at Craven Cottage.

“My desire is to be playing. Go to a place where you do not play, stay on the bench, not being in the match-day squad, it’s not cool. I’m 24 years old and what matters is playing either in Fulham or elsewhere. My desire now is be promoted to the Premier League with Fulham.” the player told Globo Esporte.

Regarding what Chelsea will do with him, Piazon claims he still hasn’t been told by the club, but makes it clear that the desire is to stay at the West London rivals.

“I still do not know what’s going to happen, the people do not talk much, they usually talk when it’s over, now I don’t even want to think about it, I’d like to stay, I feel very good here, I like to play with my teammates, I like the stadium, for me I would stay.”

But if Chelsea give him a chance to play for the club in the next season, then that would be even better: “It’s what I always wanted, right? I came here in 2011 to play for Chelsea. But it depends a lot on the manager as well and who decides a lot is the manager.

“The club told me that they do not want to lose me yet, that they want to renew, but I know it also depends on us, what we do in the club where we’re loaned to.”

Since being signed by Chelsea in 2012, Piazon already had loan spells at Malaga, Vitesse, Eintracht Frankfurt, Reading, and two seasons at Fulham. He’s made 23 appearances for the Cottagers this season, with six goals and five assists so far.
