Everton may have been handed their opportunity to sign Largie Ramazani from Almeria, with him keen to return to England.

La Voz de Almeria cover the player today and his plans for the summer transfer window as his time at the Spanish club has seemingly come to an end.

The newspaper explains that the 23-year-old has been growing in Spain since his arrival on a free transfer from Manchesrrer United in August 2020 but has not taken that ‘definitive step’ forward to convince himself to Almeria’s board.

He’s been too inconsistent for them to hang their future hopes on him and they’d be open to a sale this summer, particularly as he only has a year left on his current deal.

The player is keen on a switch too and is ‘counting the hours’ until the summer when ‘he’d like to return to England’.

Whether he has suitors there remains to be seen, although Everton have been linked consistently in the past.

A report in January indicated they were still keen after previous interest in the summer, when the Toffees were scouring the market looking to add pace to their forward line, albeit on the cheap.

Everton never got that signing but with Ramazani in the final year of his deal, he could now be available on the cheap.

He’s certainly keen to leave Almeria and they’re open to selling too, so there is a deal there to be done if they want it.
