As we’ve been explaining for several weeks, Italian newspaper Tuttosport like the idea of Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata returning to Juventus and have been talking themselves into it for a while.

Tuttosport are based in Turin so concentrate on their local club Juventus and they believe Morata and Anthony Martial are the two candidates for a summer signing.

Morata’s ‘heart’ is said to still have a place for Juventus, but once again money is a problem. The claims on Sunday state a transfer fee of €70m should do the trick and release the striker this summer.

PSG and Bayern Munich (Tuttosport seem to think the German club are interested in nearly all Juve’s targets) would have no problem with such a fee, but it’s explained Juventus would want a more imaginative transfer.

That would see Morata go to Turin on a two year loan, a little like Juan Cuadrado, and have a redemption clause of €35m at the end of the period.

Contacts have been going on with the player’s environment for ‘several weeks’ and the next stage would be making any efforts concrete.

It all seems wildly optimistic from a Juventus viewpoint, and it’s unlikely Chelsea would agree to such a plan.
