Manchester City loanee Yaw Yeboah is set to return to the club at the end of the season.

The player has spent an year at Dutch side FC Twente, but according to reports from the local media today, it’s very unlikely he will remain there.

As reported by TC/Tubantia (via Soccernews), the player has not being impressing at Twente and was recently dropped to the bench. The winger has contributed two goals and one assist since joining them.

As Yeboah’s contract with Manchester City is expiring in 2018, Pep Guardiola’s side will obviously not renew the loan deal without a renewal themselves. And with no big budget for the summer, Twente think he’s not worth a big effort for a permanent transfer.

The 20-year-old joined the Manchester City academy in 2014, and is considered some way from the first team. Before the loan to Twente, he also spent a season in France playing for Lille.
